Michael Eggenberger is an associate attorney at Kaplan Rice. Mr. Eggenberger represents institutional and individual clients on a wide range of complex litigation issues, including bankruptcy, securities litigation, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, class actions, appeals, and contract disputes. He also has experience with internal investigations and regulatory matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Eggenberger's clients have included some of the biggest financial firms in the world, as well as hedge funds, individuals, technology companies, retailers, and industry groups.
Mr. Eggenberger's pro bono work includes securing disability payments for wounded veterans, advocating for police reform, defending neighborhoods from zealous real estate developers, and representing the Office of the New York County District Attorney on criminal appeals.
After serving as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, Mr. Eggenberger went on to graduate from American Military University and New York University School of Law. Before joining Kaplan Rice, he worked at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
